Last Day at Peralta

A bar of 73% dark chocolate and a dish of Marcona almonds soaked in sunflower oil.  The boxes are packed, the tears were shed.  Now, I'm lying motionless on the couch with Milo stretched out over my legs, watching some movie on the Roku, chocolate and nuts by my side.  It's time for resting, swimming, oceans, snuggling, playing, and GOOD FOOD.  Schoooooool's out. For. Summer.

  1. I am eating granola and rice milk, home made by an old friend, also sitting on the couch, squealing with joy. We just finished buttery quesadillas and that just wasn't enough. Food is important when you are working hard. Buttery and grainy and just enough dairy.

  2. Last night for dinner, I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It was meager, for dinner, but perfect because a. I was not that hungry, and b. Jodacious made it for me.
